Best Place to eat in Bainbridge Island

We have to mention the best place to eat in Bainbridge Island - The Four Swallows! A group of us met there for a wonderful evening of being pampered. The service was superb and the food was some of the best we've had. We started with great h'orderves, then salad choices that were delectable, main course that just made you feel you were eating at a 5 star restaurant (wow, we were), and the dessert topped it off. My main dish was halibut served over fresh white corn and slightly swirled with a delicious lite sauce. I, of course, asked for a wedge of lemon and thankfully tasted the halibut before putting the lemon on it. It didn't need it!! The waitress later said (when I canceled the lemon) that her grandfather always told her if the fish was fresh the lemon wasn't needed. I dare say this halibut even beat our other favorite place "The Charthouse". Paul had huge scallops with a special augraten potato in the center. My peach cobbler for dessert was the best I'd had. Paul had a kind of raspberry custard.
