Picture shows the radiant heating tubes that were installed on the main floor of the house. Concrete was poured the first part of this week over the tubing. The hardy plank siding was finished and painted on the exterior and final shingles are being added on the entry face to finish the shingle part of the house. It's really pulling together. The electrician will come Monday to finish the adjustments to be made on a couple cans in the office area and connect a couple recepticles we had put in the floor. Wow, then insulation and wallboard. We will definitely see a big difference when we return home the first part of November. Doug went to the house this morning and met with our contractor and is very pleased with things so far. Doug gave them the correct color for the spandels that accent under the windows and under the bump outs. They will be darker than the picture and compliment the saddle brown color siding and the amber-honeyish color of the struts, beams, and outside accest and trim wood. Doors are being ordered on Monday and before long the house will be all sealed up and finished on the outside ready for the fall and winter weather to be able to finish the interior.
