The children together make a fun "Kodak" moment. They are all doing very well with being gentle with Tolan.Cheri gave Tolan his sponge bath at home and he let her know what he thought of it by giving her his sample right on the side of her pants and shirt. Perhaps he will love his real bath when the umbilical heals up and can feel the warm water around him. We'll see.
Yesterday Tolan had his check-up from his pediatrician and it went very well. He could find no adverse effects now from all the trama he went through in the NICU and pronounced Tolan as healthy. His little foot is also healing and that will be checked out today with the wound specialist.
Cheri goes in tomorrow for her OBGYN appointment and I will stay home helping make sure the boys get off for their sports activities and watching Tolan and Alana. Then Thursday Cheri goes for more chemo treatments. That has previously taken between two and four hours. Craig will join her there so she'll have the support of her loving husband. He's quite a guy - great husband, dad, and wonderful son-in-law...they don't come much better! Paul and I feel very blessed with our entire family - great kids and grandkids all around! (of course we're prejudice!)
Thank you all for your continued prayers - you are loved - and your thoughts and prayers are much appreciated - and working to help keep the challenges of health manageable, and ultimately healing of the bodies!
