Tolan is well enough for his circumcisn today

Cheri got a call from the hospital this afternoon letting her know that Tolan will be having his circumcisn done today. He is well enough now for that to be done. He's really going to be happy to see his parents tonight. Poor baby, what he would say to them if he could only talk! He's going to be so glad to come home and be away from all the pokes and prodes and cuts and machines. We actually are so grateful for the wonderful medical staff at Methodist Hospital Germantown for their care of both he and Cheri! Not to mention the greatest power of the Master Healer acting on the faith and prayers of friends and family! Thank you all!!
We were all able to go yesterday to see Tolan. The kids and I stayed in the middle area between the hallway and NICU where one "scrubs up" and puts on a clean gown before going into the NICU. We put Cheri in a wheelchair upon arriving at the hospital for visits and all go down to visit Tolan. Cheri and Craig were in the NICU and they had unhooked Tolan and had him in a darling green and blue stripped outfit. What a beautiful baby. Cheri was holding him and Craig wheeled her over to the window so we could all see him. HE LOOKS GREAT!! What a difference a few days makes. He is now being fed with a bottle and doing well on that. They will keep up with the antibiotics for a few more days and keep him monitored. His respiration is getting better daily. Can't wait for him to come home - hopefully within the next couple of days or so.
