Tolan is home!

We picked up Tolan today from the NICU and he is presently sleeping in his Mommy's arms!! A great day in the Sharp household to now have the family complete!
Tolan was taken off the antibiotic regiment Monday, but still didn't have the hang of eating like they wanted. Got a call this morning and since he is breathing better and was starting to consume 2 to 4 ounces at his feedings, the staff is comfortable for him to come home. His little foot is now scabbed over where the IV infiltrated, so we just watch it and let nature take it's course for healing. Appointments next week for Tolan's checkups are scheduled with the wound care center, Pediatrician, and Physical Therapist. And for Cheri, her GYN appointment as well as her next Chemo Treatment scheduled for June 5th.
