Beach fun

We have windows of beautiful days or blocks in a day that is now sunny. We're appreciating anything we can get. Like everywhere, it's been a long winter and we're ready for nice weather. Paul and I took the canoe out Saturday afternoon and paddled a couple miles along the shore - was wonderful. We'll be doing that more - great getting away and out into nature! Doug and Preston were here Saturday morning (thanks Doug for keeping track of contractor questions) and we took a little walk along the shore while the tide was out. I snapped a picture of these starfish attached to a large rock before the tide came back in. Was fun to see. While canoeing we saw a couple of seals that poked their head out of the water for a while. This is one of the reasons we're here...... it's very nice and very quiet and peaceful.
